Who I Am
I provide an authentic way to discover and practice yoga in a safe, relaxed, friendly, accepting environment.
I teach yoga as a moving meditation - a flow of energy through various sequences and postures.
My aim is to show that yoga goes beyond the physical aspects. We find a way to cleanse and nurture the body to reach natural euphoric highs!
Yoga philosophy is an integral part of teaching and it is peppered throughout all my classes.
While yoga and ayurveda have been part of my life from a young age, it was while I was living in NYC for over 10 years that my passion ignited and I realised that this would be my path.
I began my teaching for the mental health charity MIND in West London. This has spread and allowed me to share yoga in other ways through public community classes, private one-to-one's, corporate classes and various well known colleges and institutions.
I am a fully qualified Ayurvedic Massage Therapist, Nutritionist and Ayurvedic Acupuncturist.
My training leads me to be a practitioner of Ayurvedic medicine as well as hold a Masters in Yoga Therapy.
Some may ask, "What is Ayurveda?"
Ayurveda is the science of life and is an ancient Indian holistic healthcare system of healing the body naturally through diet, lifestyle and herbal preparations.
When we combine this wisdom with modern research the results are powerful.
My journey is lifelong and I continue to collect and deepen my knowledge through all my teachers and mentors.
